It’s episode 3 of Just Paint It and in this short piece I’ll show you how to make a beautiful arctic landscape using alcohol inks! Alcohol inks come in little dropper bottles with a wide variety of vibrant colours available for you to play with. Use them on non-porous surfaces such as tiles, over top sealed paints like acrylic, as an additive to Art Resin and on one of my favourite papers YUPO!
Yupo is an archival plastic paper and many artists are enjoying its versatility. From inks, to watercolor, mixed media and more yupo is becoming a staple in studios everywhere.
Supplies used in this painting:
- Alcohol Inks (denim, clover, moonlight, snow cap)
- Alcohol Ink blending solution
- Yupo Paper
- Small brush
- Isopropyl alcohol 90%+
- skewer stick broke in half
- plastic gloves (inks will stain your hands)
- Archival pen for signing
